4 / Contractual limitations on technical data

The website cannot be held responsible for material damage linked to the use of the site. Furthermore, the user of the site undertakes to access the site using recent, virus-free equipment and with an up-to-date web browser.

All the content of the site, including, but not limited to, graphics, images, texts, videos, animations, sounds, logos, gifs and icons, as well as their formatting, are the exclusive property of the company, with the exception of brands, logos or content belonging to other partner companies or authors.

This representation or reproduction, by any means whatsoever, constitutes an infringement sanctioned by Article L.335-2 and subsequent articles of the French intellectual property code. In addition, the owners of the copied content may take legal action against you.

Icard Maritime cannot be held responsible for direct and indirect damage caused to the user’s equipment when accessing the Icard Maritime site, and resulting either from the use of equipment that does not meet the specifications indicated in Point 4, or from the appearance of a bug or an incompatibility.

Icard Maritime may not be held responsible for indirect damage (such as loss of market or loss of opportunity) resulting from the use of the site.

In France, personal data is protected by the Law No. 78-87 of 6 January 1978, Law No. 2004-801 of 6 August 2004, Article L. 226-13 of the French Criminal Code, and the European Directive of 24 October 1995.

When using the site, the following information may be collected: the URL of the links through which the user accessed the site, the user’s access provider, the user’s Internet protocol (IP) address.

In any case, Icard Maritime only collects personal information relating to the user for the purpose of certain services offered by the site. The user provides this information with full knowledge of the facts, in particular when he/she proceeds to enter it.
